On the next desk over, Outlook 2013 has the same button, the same file, the same Adobe Reader, with the file association working properly, with the box checked in options, with a default printer working everywhere else, updated to SP1 and every single time it asks you to choose which program you want to associate it with(with a check clicked that says always use this program, so you've told it before several times), then asks 'are you sure because security', and then the application opens where you can then ctrl+p/drop down print and manually close the application yourself. Highlight the pdf attachment, hit quick print and Adobe Reader opens, prints it, then closes. Quick Print is supposed to just print the document, in our office we have an Outlook 2010 install that works just fine like this.
